As a fast-growing company, we’re expanding our team in Turkey, NC and are looking for driven individuals to join us.*About the Role*The Production Entry Operator is an Entry-Level Production position in our organic fertilizer plant; you'll play a hands-on role in the daily operation of our manufacturing line. You'll work with materials and processes that support the farm industry. This is a hands-on role ideal for those seeking real-world experience in a production environment.*Compensation & Advancement:** $17-$21/hr (starting at $17/hr during a 3–6 month probationary period)* Pay increases based on contribution and impact on operations*Key Responsibilities:** Operate production equipment safely and efficiently to meet daily output targets* Monitor machinery and report any malfunctions or unusual conditions to maintenance* Assist with mixing, bagging, and packaging of organic fertilizer products* Ensure accurate labeling and quality control checks of finished goods* Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area according to company standards* Follow safety procedures, wear required PPE, and participate in safety briefings* Load/unload materials and supplies manually or using forklift/hoist (if certified)* Complete production inventory reports as directed* Collaborate with team members to solve problems and improve workflow*Qualifications:** High school diploma or equivalent* Valid Driver’s License* Previous manufacturing experience is a plus but not required* Ability to follow verbal and written instructions* Comfortable with physical work including lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for long periods* Basic math and measurement skills* Willingness to learn, take initiative, and work well in a team environment*Preferred Qualifications:** Knowledge of safety practices in an industrial environment.* Experience with agriculture (family farm, 4H, etc.)*Work Environment:** Fast-paced plant setting with exposure to organic compounds and agricultural materials* Indoor/outdoor operations depending on plant layout and season* Noise, dust, and odor may be present—protective gear provided*What We Offer:** Hands-on experience in a real-world production environment* On-the-job training and career development opportunities* Competitive pay and benefits (healthcare and PTO)* A supportive team focused on sustainability and innovation* Mentorship from experienced engineers and technical staff* Opportunity to contribute to meaningful quality and process improvements.* Potential for future employment opportunitiesJob Type: Full-timePay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hourBenefits:* Health insurance* Paid time offAbility to Commute:* Turkey, NC 28393 (Required)Ability to Relocate:* Turkey, NC 28393: Relocate before starting work (Required)Work Location: In person
