Water Treatment Field Service Technician

*GCS Water Purification, LLC.** _*Description:*_Under the direction of a supervisor, the service technician will be responsible for maintaining and servicing multiple water plants throughout various industries located in the Mid Atlantic area.*Job Duties*:* Site specific labor and troubleshooting* Maintaining water and chemical tank levels* Servicing pumps* Taking water samples and logging operational data* Maintaining pre-treatment equipment as well as the water processing equipment* Communicating with site operations* Adhering to company safety policies* Ordering parts and consumables* Practicing jobsite and industrial hygiene* In addition, the service technician will also perform duties that result from work scope changes.GCS Water will provide in-the-field training supplemented with class training.*Schedule:*Typically, Monday through Friday but will include some weekends and possible holiday hours.*Requirements:** Candidate must be able to stand or walk for long periods* Lift and carry heavy (50lbs) objects utilizing arms, hands, feet, and legs* Climb ladders, scaffolds, and work from heights* Carry tools and equipment* Crouch and crawl* Pass a drug test* Pass a background check and safety training (Basic Plus & Site-Specific Safety).* Candidate must have a valid driver’s license, US citizenship and PPE (steel toe work boots).* Willingness to travel (within continental United States).*Additional Information*:* Opportunity for rapid advancement* Per Diem (Meals, Hotels, etc.) paid by Employer* Overtime hours available* Health/Dental coverage* 401K* Paid holidays & vacation time*Starting Pay:*$16.00-$18.00/hour (Probation period)$18.00-$26.00/hour (After 90 Days)Job Type: Full-timePay: $16.00 - $26.00 per hourBenefits:* Dental insurance* Health insurance* Life insurance* Paid time offSchedule:* Monday to Friday* On call* Overtime* Weekends as neededPeople with a criminal record are encouraged to applyWillingness to travel:* 100% (Required)Work Location: In person
