Port Fish and Chop House is a NEW restaurant in Kennebunkport seeking Restaurant Managers.We are looking for bright, energetic, and service-driven Managers with an aptitude for providing effortless service.With our established restaurant group, there is ample support for you to expand your skills and continually grow with us. We want you to oversee the dining room, check-in with customers and manage staff at the registers. Back of the house management experience is essential, as you’ll make sure we comply with health and safety restaurant regulations.We’ll expect you to lead by example and uplift our staff during busy moments in our fast-paced environment. Ultimately, you will ensure our restaurant runs smoothly and customers have pleasant dining experiences.SALARY is very competitive and BENEFITS to those who are eligible as well.*Responsibilities* :Coordinate daily Front of the House and Back of the House restaurant operationsDeliver superior service and maximize customer satisfactionRespond efficiently and accurately to customer complaintsOrganize and supervise shiftsEnsure compliance with sanitation and safety regulationsPromote the brand in the local community through word-of-mouth and restaurant eventsTrain new and current employees on proper customer service practicesImplement policies and protocols that will maintain future restaurant operations*Skills*:Proven work experience as a Restaurant Manager, Restaurant General Manager, Hospitality Manager or similar roleProven customer service experience as a managerFood and beverage knowledge, with ability to remember and recall ingredients and dishes to inform customers and wait staffFamiliarity with restaurant POS softwareStrong leadership, motivational and people skillsJob Type: Full-timePay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per yearBenefits:* 401(k)* 401(k) matching* Dental insurance* Employee discount* Health insurance* Paid time off* Vision insuranceWork Location: In person
