*Summary of Position*This position will provide administrative support to the Human Resources Director on all personnel matters. They will perform professional level human resources work and carry out responsibilities in all areas of HR – onboarding, benefits administration, employee relations, and training.*Essential Duties and Responsibilities*· Maintains knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting comply.· Assist with writing job descriptions or reviews and edits job descriptions written by others.· Keeps records of benefits plans participation such as insurance and pension plan, personnel transactions such as hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, and terminations, and employee statistics for government reporting.· Assist with performance review program to ensure effectiveness, compliance, and equity within organization.· New hire/rehire onboarding and set-up for employees.· Complete job offers for new hires.· Process bi-weekly 401k employee contributions and gather data for year-end reporting.· Assist with company benefits programs such as life, health, dental and disability insurances, pension plans, vacation, sick leave, leave of absence, and employee assistance.· Conducts wage surveys within the labor market to determine competitive wage rate.· May conduct exit interviews.· Submit and respond to verification of employment requests for employees.· Handles unemployment requests for employees.· Maintain employee personnel/payroll files for employees.· Evaluates human relations and work-related problems and meets with supervisors and managers to determine effective remediation techniques, such as job skill training or personal intervention, to resolve human relations issues among personnel.· Run specialized payroll reports as needed.· Assist in problem solving and special projects in the payroll department.*Required Qualifications*· High School Diploma, associate or bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent Human Resources experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.· Minimum of three years’ experience in a HR generalist role.· Strong time management with a proven ability to meet deadlines.· Exceptional attention to detail· Establish and maintain positive, cooperative, and effective working relationships with others.· Experience in working within a team environment.· Maintain confidentiality of sensitive and privileged information.· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.· Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.· Ability to embrace the company culture.T*echnical Skills *· MS Office Suite· Strong Excel· Adobe Acrobat Suite· HRIS SoftwareJob Type: Full-timePay: $58,000.00 - $62,000.00 per yearBenefits:* 401(k)* 401(k) matching* Dental insurance* Employee assistance program* Employee discount* Flexible spending account* Health insurance* Health savings account* Life insurance* Paid time off* Parental leave* Professional development assistance* Referral program* Tuition reimbursement* Vision insuranceExperience:* HR Generalist : 3 years (Required)Work Location: In person
