*Position Summary:*The Reciprocity Specialist is responsible for coordinating, processing, and tracking reciprocity agreements and benefit transfers between Local Union and other United Association (UA) locals across the country. This role ensures that members working outside their home local receive proper pension, health, and welfare credit for hours worked. The Reciprocity Specialist serves as a liaison between the union, benefit fund offices, and UA members to ensure accurate and timely processing of benefit contributions.*Key Responsibilities:** Process incoming and outgoing reciprocity transfer requests through the United Association's Reciprocity Clearinghouse system.* Review and verify work history reports to determine eligibility for reciprocity transfers.* Coordinate with contractors, other UA locals, and fund offices to ensure proper contribution routing.* Maintain accurate records of hours worked, transferred, and credited for each member.* Communicate with members regarding the status of their reciprocity requests and answer related benefit questions.* Resolve discrepancies in contribution data or member records by working with internal and external stakeholders.* Stay current on United Association reciprocity rules, policies, and procedures.* Generate reports and summaries for union leadership and fund administrators as needed.* Assist with audits and compliance reviews related to benefit contributions and reciprocity.* Support other administrative tasks as assigned by supervisors.*Qualifications:** High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree or higher preferred.* Prior experience in union administration, benefit funds, or a related field strongly preferred.* Working knowledge of multi-employer benefit plans and reciprocity agreements is a plus.* Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.* Strong communication and customer service abilities.* Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with database systems.* Proficiency with Quick Books.* Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage deadlines.* Payroll experience preferredJoin our team as a Reciprocity Specialist and contribute to the success of our organization.Job Type: Full-timePay: From $19.00 per hourExpected hours: 40 per weekBenefits:* 401(k)* Dental insurance* Employee assistance program* Health insurance* Life insurance* Paid time off* Retirement plan* Vision insuranceExperience:* Microsoft Excel: 2 years (Required)* Payroll management: 2 years (Preferred)Ability to Commute:* Moline, IL 61265 (Required)Ability to Relocate:* Moline, IL 61265: Relocate before starting work (Required)Work Location: In person
