Burn Table Operator - Weekend Shift

Manufacturer of custom machinery is seeking a full-time, qualified Burn Table Operator.Weekend Shift Includes three 12-hour shifts:Friday - 6 a.m. - 6 p.m.Saturday - 6 a.m. - 6 p.m.Sunday - 6 a.m. - 6 p.m.This position will be paid for 40 hours/week and will include full benefits.The wages for this position are based upon level of skill and experience.*Burn Table Operator responsibilities:*- Set up and operate CNC burn table equipment to cut steel and other metals- Load raw material onto the burn table using forklifts or overhead cranes- Monitor cutting operations to ensure accuracy and quality of finished parts- Grind and sand parts to a quality finish- Inspect finished parts for defects or deviations from specifications*Skills Required:*- 1 year experience operating a plasma cutting table- Experience operating a forklift and overhead crane- Knowledge and proper use of the following: Power tools, band saw, drill press, grinder, cut off saw, and hand tools. Must provide own hand tools such as wrenches, sockets, screwdrivers, welding helmet, etc.- Experience reading blue prints is a plusAll positions require the ability to be a team player and to communicate clearly with other employees and management.
