Soccer Trainer

Employee is hereby employed by RYSC as a Club Trainer with all of the duties, responsibilities, obligations, and privileges that as are assigned to Employee by the RYSC Board of Directors, which duties may include, without limitation, those described on Attachment A Field Liner Job Responsibilities and the following:* Employee will make him/herself available as required to fulfill the duties of the role including tournaments, tryouts, meetings (individual and club), trainings/games for the teams assigned to.* Employee will make him/herself available for the necessary required technical staff meetings (1 per week), coaches meetings (PDP coach and club), parent/player meetings as needed to fulfill the duties of the position.* Employee will work with club to assist during Tryouts and Team Formation* Trainer will be required to work with Volunteer Coaches / Asst. Coaches within multiple age groups including RYSC Recreational coaches within the guidelines and processes / policies of the Club and within the guidance of the Technical Director & Chief Operating Officer.* Trainer will guide Volunteer coaches to implement the age specific curriculum and “RYSC Way” (processes / policies) for all aspects of Individual and Team Development* Trainer will work and assist the to oversee all aspects of weekly training sessions and game performances.* Under guidance of the club, planning, attending and running training session for multiple age group teams together with competitive program coaches and RYSC paid Junior Coaches.* Trainer may be asked at times to assist with other age groups, be the head coach for a team during competition, attend and run soccer camps, or support the club with any club activities or event.* Please note: Trainer shall not conduct any personal training of individual players within the responsible age groups without approval from the Club.* Typical Weekly Work Tasks* 6 days of club tryout typically May* 3 nights per week on the field & 1 full day on the weekend in season* Technical Staff Meetings as scheduled* Regular contact with Technical Director & COO* Regular contact with volunteer Coaches regarding training & games in season* E-mails and phone calls year roundDemonstrating ethical and moral personal behavior and conducting the Program in accordance with all applicable rules, regulations, and policies of and applicable to RYSC and in accordance with the Constitution, bylaws, legislation, and regulations of NorCal Premier, US Club, and the USSF or other associations and leagues of which RYSC is a member, as such may be amended from time to time.Employee shall promptly advise the Board if Employee has reason to believe that violations have occurred or will occur and shall cooperate fully in any investigation of possible violations conducted or authorized by the Club, NorCal Premier, US Club, USSF at any time.Employee agrees to faithfully and diligently use Employee's best efforts to perform all the duties of the position of Club Trainer and to devote such time, attention, and skill to the performance of these duties as necessary.
