As a cohesive unit, we focus on providing the tools students can use to build strong careers and constructive lives.*_Job Overview_*Healthcare Career College is looking for a financial aid advisor who is persuasive, persistent, and effective. Your main focus will be to help students and their parents understand the value of investing in their education, and to make the financial aid application process simple, clear, and an enjoyable experience. You will need to explain the students' aid packages and financial responsibilities. In this role, you will work closely with the Admissions Advisor, as well as the Financial Aid Director, to help students and their families through the financial aid process.*_Qualifications_** At least 2 years' experience in a financial aid department* Must be a persuasive communicator with an ability to build rapport quickly.*_Requirements_* */_*/_* Excellent customer service skills, including authentic and sincere communication* Facility with communicating by text, email, phone, video call, and in-person.* Open to continuous training, personal growth and development* Comfortable with communicating via live and recorded video or be open to receive training to become effective with video communication.* Flexible and willing to advance skills to meet the demands of the job and the market changes* Ability to prioritize and multi-task* Ability to analyze, interpret and explain information.* Strong interpersonal, presentation, and verbal and written communication skills.* A genuine interest in people and a strong desire to help students understand the value of investing in their education.* Must be goal oriented, assertive, results driven, proactive, high energy, and highly ethical.*Responsibilities:** Adhere to the highest standards of compliance in performing all aspects of financial aid.* Adhere to the highest standards of customer service when dealing with students.* Process all aspects of Title IV aid, including award calculation, disbursements, verifications, professional judgments.* Assist students with processing non-Title IV sources of aid, if applicable (e.g., scholarships, training vouchers)*_Schedule_** This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday.
