Assembly/Machine Operator

*Assembler*-Assemble and fabricate steel components and similar material parts according to specifications and blueprints-Use hand tools and power tools to complete assembly tasks-Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy-Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean work environment-Collaborate with team members to meet production goals-Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, as needed*Material Handler/Machine Operation*- use forklift to receive and provide material to production area-Operate production machinery, presses, CNC machines and other metal fabrication machinery-must be comfortable in a rugged, heavy-duty industrial environment-must have 2+ years experience operating a forklift AND have a valid driver's license-MUST have good longevity in past jobs (2-3+ years average in past roles) to be considererd*ENTRY LEVEL positions may be available at times for $13 - $16/hr on 1st shift**Qualifications:*-Previous experience in assembly or a related field preferred-VALID Driver's License-Proficient in using hand tools and power tools, must have ability to crouch, kneel or stoop if assembling within the product-Basic mechanical knowledge and understanding of assembly processes-Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work instructions-Strong attention to detail and quality control-Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environmentMost, but not all, positions, will require 1st and 2nd shift availability$13 - $19.50/hr depending on department, position and candidate experienceJob Types: Full-time, Temp-to-hirePay: $13.00 - $20.00 per hourBenefits:* Dental insurance* Health insurance* Life insurance* On-the-job training* Paid time off* Vision insuranceSchedule:* 8 hour shiftExperience:* tape measure: 1 year (Preferred)* forklift: 1 year (Preferred)* mechanical assembly: 1 year (Preferred)* Machine operation: 1 year (Preferred)Work Location: In person
