*HR Generalist*McLane Classic Foods is a premier custom kettle cooked food products company based in Burleson, Texas. Specializing in custom product development, we produce a wide range of kettle cooked recipes for our regional and national chain restaurant partners. Our capabilities include an array of kettle cooked food products including soups, sauces, side dishes and dips.*Overview:*We’re growing! We are seeking a seasoned HR Generalist to join our growing team. You will work closely with the HR Manager, and Office Admin/HR Assistant, to drive initiatives that support team member engagement, a positive company culture, increased productivity through recruiting and retention initiatives, and support a safe work environment. This includes providing support, advice, and coaching to managers on policies, programs, and team member relations issues. You will also be involved in the development of Environmental Health and Safety programs.*What you get to do:*Staffing/Recruitment* Manage full talent pipeline process from sourcing to on-boarding.* Managing our in-house temporary programEmployee Relations* Provide day to day policy guidance and interpretation, support in areas of career development, performance improvement plans and disciplinary actions, coaching, and counseling directly with team members.* Support managers in providing continuous performance feedback to employees.* Foster and cultivate a positive work environment and focus on employee engagement and an inclusive culture.* Support supervisors with payroll regarding time keeping.* Support team members with Benefits questions.* Manage workers’ compensation claim submissions.* TrainingCompliance* Responsible for HR reporting and other ad-hoc data analysis.* Ensure timely and accurate administration of personnel information.* Participate in the development, interpretation, and communication of human resource policies and procedures.* Ensure compliance with regards to regulations and laws.* Partner with HR Manager in the benchmarking of the internal and external environment to improve the HR policies and initiatives to enhance overall business performance.* Identify and drive the communication and sharing of learning across functions to facilitate continuous improvement and drive best practicesHR and Safety Initiatives* Assist with training and development initiatives at all levels for compliance and growth.* Support Environment, Health & Safety initiatives.* Participate and act as community liaison on site or out in the community.* Assist with various human resources projects as needed as well as other ad hoc HR initiatives.* Other duties as assignedExperience Requirements* Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or equivalent experience.* 3+ Years’ experience in a manufacturing environment* Experience recommending solutions for employment matters, conflict management, performance coaching, and conducting internal investigations is required.* Demonstrated ability to communicate with employees at all levels of the organization in an effective and professional manner.* Knowledge of federal, state and local employment laws and regulations.* Ability to develop strong trusting relationships in order to gain support and achieve results.* Self-directed and motivated.* Internet-based sourcing tools, and Microsoft Suite of products are required.*What we offer you:** Competitive Package – Health benefits coverage begins on day 1, 401k plan.Job Type: Full-timePay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per yearBenefits:* 401(k)* Dental insurance* Health insurance* Life insurance* Paid time off* Retirement plan* Vision insuranceWork Location: In person
