Job Description

*Job Overview*We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Mix Facility Sanitarian to ensure that our facility adheres to the highest standards of cleanliness and safety. This role is crucial in maintaining compliance with FDA regulations and OSHA standards, while also promoting public health within our operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of compliance and ensuring that all sanitation practices meet industry requirements.*Responsibilities include but are not limited to:** Responsible for daily and weekly tasks as assigned* Follow all safety procedures and policies* Wear all required/proper protective equipment* Keeping all sanitation areas clean and organized* Following all GMP’s* Food Defense – question, challenge, and report any unusual activities* Know chemicals and how to properly use them*General hours of work:** Monday-Friday 5:30am – 2:00pm*Skills required:** Lifting, stretching, bending, stooping, pulling, pushing, repetitive motion, and grasping – all for short periods of time.* Ability to use basic tools, pressure washer and low pressure air* Ability to obtain certification for electric hand lift and forklift (training provided)* Follow all safety procedures and policies* Wear all required/proper protective equipment* Keeping all sanitation areas clean and organized* Following all GMP’s* Food Defense – question, challenge, and report any unusual activities* Know chemicals and how to properly use themWe invite qualified candidates who are passionate about maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety in the food industry to apply for this vital position.Job Type: Full-timePay: From $17.03 per hourExpected hours: 40 per weekBenefits:* 401(k)* Dental insurance* Employee assistance program* Health insurance* Life insurance* Paid time off* Vision insuranceExperience:* Sanitation: 1 year (Required)Language:* English (Required)Ability to Commute:* Ashton, IL 61006 (Required)Work Location: In person
