Dock Hand

*Candidate must be available to work full day shifts. The average day is 8 to 14 hrs and weather dependent. No split shifts available. All shift start times are within one hour of sunrise. **JOB RESPONSIBILITIES*- Greeting members in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner- Assist members in boarding / loading boats with emphasis on safety- Clean boats and stage equipment for its next outing- Boat detailing- Daily reporting- Daily inspection of boats-Daily operation of boats*QUALIFICATIONS:**- Strong communication skills and friendly customer service are absolutely required*- Ability to clean and attention to detail- Ability to perform minor boat maintenance or willingness to learn- Ability to lift / carry up to 30 lbs- Kneeling / stooping to clean interior of boat compartments- Ability to climb a ladder- A calm, friendly attitude required- Must have reliable transportation- Must be punctual- Ability to SwimJob Type: Part-timePay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hourExpected hours: 25 – 35 per weekSchedule:* 12 hour shift* Holidays* Monday to Friday* Overtime* Weekends as neededSupplemental Pay:* TipsEducation:* High school or equivalent (Preferred)Work Location: In person
