Prep Cook and Line Cook

*Overview*Working hours are 7am to 4pm only. No night shifts!! Looking for some one local in and around collegeville area within 10 mile radiusWe are seeking a dedicated and passionate Prep cum line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in meal preparation, ensuring that all ingredients are prepped and ready for cooking. This position is essential in maintaining the efficiency of our kitchen operations and delivering high-quality meals to our guests. If you have a love for the food industry and a commitment to food safety, we want to hear*Responsibilities** Assist in meal preparation by chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients as per menu specifications. Breakfast cooking experience highly preferred inlcuding egg and lunch stations* Ensure all food items are prepared according to established recipes and standards.* Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, adhering to food safety guidelines and as per turning point standards* Collaborate with chefs and other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.* Be agile in shifting roles from cooking, moving to prep and dish as needed* Support the dietary department by preparing meals that meet specific dietary requirements.* Handle food items safely and responsibly, following proper food handling procedures.* Help with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages.*Skills** Experience in a kitchen environment, preferably as a cook or prep cook.* Knowledge of meal preparation techniques and food safety practices.* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.* Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.* Familiarity with menu planning and dietary needs is a plus.* Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration within the kitchen team.* A passion for cooking and helping others enjoy delicious meals.Join us as we create memorable dining experiences through exceptional food preparation!Job Types: Full-time, Part-timeWork Location: In person
