Assistant Shift Supervisor - 2rd Shift

*2nd SHIFT ASSISTANT SHIFT SUPERVISOR**JOB SUMMARY*While reporting to the Shift Supervisor, you will assist in leading the shift supervisor in Safety, Production and Quality. You will take pride in your personal hands-on and analytical abilities, organizational skills and attention to detail.*ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS*The work assignments may vary from day-to-day including but not limited to:* Ensure employees on shift are trained and understand job requirements (how to run, load equipment).* Monitor quality requirements (features, trim, hand inserted parts)* Work in conjunction with assembly and warehouse departments to ensure inventory accuracy of finished goods, WIP and scrap.* Completing material handling needs on shift.* Managing shift paperwork (productivity reporting, quality, rejects, etc.)* Assisting the maintenance, quality, and engineering departments as needed.* Train new employees on proper techniques and procedures.* Guaranteeing the safety of yourself and coworkers. Always remaining knowledgeable, compliant and willing to hold others to all safety rules and policies.*EXPERIENCE** Prior Lead/Supervisory experience (1-2 years) preferably in plastics manufacturing environment.* Effective communication skills – verbal, written Bilingual Spanish/English.* You will need to have exceptional troubleshooting and problem solving abilities.* Having the ability to effectively work with a team in a fast-paced environment is crucial to success*COMPENSATION/BENEFITS:** Salary commensurate with experience, paid weekly.
