*Job description – Bather**Overview:*A great opportunity to work in a fun, pet loving, grooming salon! This position involves working closely with animals, assisting groomers and ensuring a pleasant and safe environment for both pets and their owners.*Detailed responsibilities:*- Thoroughly wash and dry all dog breeds using appropriate shampoos and conditioners- Deliver after bath basic care involving ear cleaning and teeth brushing- Be comfortable with performing walk-in nail clips and gland expressions- Monitor health and well-being of the pets during grooming sessions- Maintain clean and organized bathing station*Skills:*- Knowledge of pet grooming and animal handling practices- Experience with handling and restraining dogs in a safe and gentle manner- Strong customer service skills to positively interact with pet owners- Dependable and reliable attendance- Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary*Experience:*Previous experience as: bather, veterinary technician, pet sitter, kennel environment, etc.Job Type: Part-timePay: From $15.00 per hourExpected hours: 18 – 24 per weekBenefits:* Employee discount* Flexible scheduleCompensation Package:* Hourly pay* TipsSchedule:* Day shiftPeople with a criminal record are encouraged to applyWork Location: In person
