*Overview*We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong understanding of the food industry. This role requires excellent time management skills, the ability to upsell menu items, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation.*Responsibilities** Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner.* Take accurate food and beverage orders using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems.* Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items, including specials and wine pairings.* Upsell additional items to enhance guest experience and increase sales.* Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to guests while maintaining attention to detail.* Manage guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism, ensuring satisfaction at all times.* Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and address any issues promptly.* Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including bussing tables and ensuring proper sanitation practices are followed.* Assist with food preparation as needed, adhering to food safety guidelines.* Handle cash transactions accurately, including basic math calculations for billing.*Qualifications** Previous experience in a restaurant or fine dining environment is preferred.* Familiarity with Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar systems is a plus.* Strong culinary knowledge and experience in food handling practices.* Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy setting.* Proven sales skills with an aptitude for upselling menu items.* Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and billing processes.* Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.* Knowledge of sanitation standards and food safety regulations is essential.* Experience as a host/host or in guest services is advantageous but not required.
