Our commitment to excellence, passion for adventure, and dedication to sustainability drive our product development and business operations.As a CNC Operator and Camper Builder you will be a vital member of our team in assembling & manufacturing innovative truck campers and accessories. Using your expertise with power tools and manufacturing processes, you will assemble products with precision and efficiency, ensuring that each one meets our high standards of quality and timeliness. It will be fast-paced and you will have as much responsibility and accountability as you want and can manage. All associates will start at camper builder level 1 when brought on board with an opportunity for advancement at the 6 month mark. After a performance review and depending on applicants skill level there is an opportunity for advancement to a level 2 or level 3 camper builder based on performance level, individual's aptitude of concepts and their ability to understand and learn accompanying stations. Additionally, the qualified candidate will be eligible to receive their own Tune M1 at 6 months of employment dependent on performance.Preferred CNC Skills:* Knowledge of set up and routine preventative maintenance of a CNC.* Experience with Syntec and Fusion CAM software is strongly preferred.* Ability to identify and troubleshoot minor mechanical and software issues with CNC equipment.* Experience tracking scrap and a keen eye for reduction of waste.* Record keeping of maintenance logs.* Quality Management experience; inspecting parts pre and post operations to ensure quality standards are met.Preferred Skills:* Assembly of campers & accessories using both handheld and large floor mounted power tools* Some of the tools include but are not limited to are: Non-Ferrous Semi-Automated Cold Saw, Drill Press, Handheld Drill, Thread Taps, Impact Driver, Rivet Setting Tools, Air-Hammer, Riv-Nut Installation Tool, Calipers, Tape Measures and Squares* Strong knowledge of general construction practices e.g. 12V electrical, wood working, metal working, and assembly* Be able to follow assembly instructions using a word processing application* Verify set-up, operate and shut down manufacturing equipment* Ability to respond to technical questions over the phone with customers* Must be able to perform the essential functions of the role, which include standing for long periods, repetitive motion, lifting, bending, and operating equipment.* Must be able to lift 50 lbs and handle materials up to 14 feet long* Experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred but not required* Customer service experience preferred* 2+ years experience with power tools (can be non-job related)* Familiarity with lean manufacturing techniques* Experience with problem-solving and root cause analysis* Experience with inventory management* Experience with quality control and inspection techniques* Must be fluent in the English language, both written and spoken* Must be able to use simple math and use basic hand-held measuring tools* Strong problem-solving, and communication skills* A passing background check (criminal and drug test)* Proficient knowledge of computers including Google Drive* Self-motivated mentality and the ability to work with minimal supervision* Energetic and enthusiastic about continuous improvement* Innovative and creative individual who is a self-starter* Can take direction while asking questions as needed* Must have strong organizational skills in order to work in this fast-paced environment* Ability to work independently and as part of a team* Veterans and military personnel are encouraged to apply* High school diploma or equivalent, vocational training or certification in a related field is a plusJob Type:* Hourly + Overtime as requiredPay:* $22-$24 per hour starting depending on experienceBenefits:* Health, dental and vision insurance paid at 100% for employee* Paid time off, sick pay, holiday pay* Career advancement options* Your own base Tune M1 + options at cost at 6 months of employment dependent on performanceSchedule:* 5 days x 8 hours working (onsite)Supplemental pay types:* Discretionary annual performance bonusesJoin our team at Tune Outdoor and be part of a company that values its employees and takes pride in creating top-quality truck campers for outdoor enthusiasts.
