Experienced Baker - Part Time/Full Time

We are currently seeking an assistant baker to work alongside our current team of bakers. Applicant could choose part time or full time schedule. A full time applicant must be able to work a minimum of 1 early shift (3:15 AM start) per week as well as for initial training. Additional shifts would typically begin between 5 AM and 9 AM as well as in the early afternoon. Applicant must have at least 1 year of relevant baking experience or be currently enrolled in a certified culinary program (e.g. Johnson & Wales). Applicant must also be able to take direction and work easily with co workers. Please do not apply if you do not have these qualifications. Applicant must live in the general area, be dependable - and have own transportation.Our typical daily bake includes preparing freshly made muffins, scones, bagels, cookies, croissants, cakes, pastries, and the preparation of parfaits, overnight oats and chicken and egg salad. We also produce a variety of specialized foods and treats around each holiday. Other responsibilities include unpacking and stocking deliveries, cleaning and organizing the kitchen and communicating with the barista staff and managers.This is an opportunity to join a dynamic growing organization and to work in a clean friendly environment.
