Weekend CNC Machine Operator

*AmeriLux Family of Companies (AFoC) is hiring! *We are looking for a hardworking, driven, team member to join our distribution center. In this role, you will be responsible for programming and operating CNC machinery to cut raw materials into precise, functional components. You'll work from technical blueprints, design cutting programs, and perform test runs to ensure products meet exact specifications.*Key Responsibilities:**Machine Operation & Setup: *Run CNC machines and verify all work against project specifications; resolve any issues during production runs.*Blueprint Interpretation and CNC Programming: *Read technical drawings and set up machines accordingly to ensure accurate part fabrication. Use computer-aided software to model cutting paths and program machines based on blueprint designs.*Quality and Maintenance Assurance: *Perform test runs and quality checks to ensure all finished products meet design and tolerance requirements. Perform basic machine maintenance, such as cleaning and sharpening tools, and maintain an organized work area.*Production Optimization: *Adjust machine settings and tool paths to maintain product quality while maximizing efficiency. Respond to short lead-time jobs while maintaining attention to detail and output quality.*Tool & Material Planning: *Evaluate tools required for specific materials and program machines to suit the cutting requirements.*Troubleshooting: *Identify and resolve problems with machine performance, tools, or programming issues in real time.*Safety & Teamwork: *Follow all safety procedures and work collaboratively with teammates in a fast-paced production environment.Shift: Friday/ Saturday/ Sunday 3pm - 3am*What We’re Looking For:*· Ability to read and understand technical drawings and schematics.· Proficiency in CNC programming software and machine setup.· Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.· Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.· High attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.· Willingness to follow safety protocols and maintain a clean workspace..*Benefits:*The AmeriLux benefits package includes a nationally award winning zero-dollar deductible healthcare plan created to ensure peace of mind and comprehensive care for all A-Team family members.
