*Job Summary*We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our 2nd shift manufacturing team. (3:00pm - 11:30pm Monday - Friday.) The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating CNC machines, including lathes and milling machines, to produce precision parts according to customer specifications. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, the ability to interpret technical drawings and strong attention to detail. The CNC Operator will ensure that production goals are met while maintaining high-quality standards.*Responsibilities** Operate CNC machines, including lathes and milling machines, to produce precision parts* Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings* Measure part dimensions with a micrometer, calipers, and various gages* Record quality inspections, debur parts and some hand finishing* Monitor machine operations to ensure proper functioning and quality of output* Adjust tooling for minor offsets* Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with 5S* Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules and quality standards*Requirements** Must be a US Citizen, or legal alien* Must be 18 years of age, or older* High school diploma or equivalent* Proven experience as a CNC Operator or similar role in a manufacturing facility* Strong mechanical aptitude* Ability to operate (or quickly learn to operate) logic controllers and other factory machinery effectively* Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.* Must not have had any felony convictions in the last 10 years* Must be able to lift 40 poundsCustom Tool is a Tennessee Drug Free Workplace.
