Thermal Reduction Operator

_A Thermal Reduction Operator is required to run multiple large volume furnaces; perform a variety of physical, documentation, and data-entry tasks in our high-volume processing facility; and adhering to while also supporting our high standards and culture of quality and safety. _Must be capable of learning and understanding how to do the following:* Material handling of waste materials using proper PPE and tools, aswell as understanding which safety procedures to follow with specificwaste materials.* Material handling of pallets, drums, pans, racks, etc. using a forklift.* Unload and load roller conveyors.* Weigh materials using an industrial scale and label printers.* Proficient in completing necessary production paperwork.* Use computer to input data into a web-based database in real time.* Keep various customers material organized and separated from othercustomers products.* Perform all necessary cleaning requirements such as sweeping,mopping, etc.* Maintain all required tools and organize in their assigned places.* Operate computer screens and understanding basic operations andmeasurements such as temperature, pressure, flow, motors or blowersoperating.* Perform and comprehend basic or minor maintenance functions suchas greasing bearings and changing both liquid and air filters.* Use basic maintenance tools such as box wrenches, socket wrenches,pipe wrenches, strap wrenches, etc.* Read and understand production schedules.FORM: HRD-FOR-090 REVISION: 1 DATE: 29 MAY 20252* Make adjustments on a computer screen to increase and decreasetemperature.* Must climb ladders to check monitors and gauges.* Must be capable of learning critical component of a material from aprofile or SDS.* Pushing, pulling of drums and equipment which could weigh in excessof 100 lbs. Lifting up to 50 lbs., bending and stretching.* Performs other duties as assigned.*WORKING CONDITIONS*_*Environment*__: _ The department and facility frequently reaches high temperatures over 100 degrees._*RCRA*_: This position will require interaction with hazardous waste. Employees may be required to work any shift, including evening, weekend or holiday shifts, as needed by the Company. Any modifications to the employee's schedule will be communicated by the Manager. This is a full-time position, but some overtime work may be required.*QUALIFICATIONS*Be a “U.S. person” pursuant to section 120.15 of the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).High school diploma or equivalent.Some industrial work experience.Must use calculator for basic math calculations.Mechanical capability is highly desired.
