Tree Climber/Bucket Operator $300 sign on bonus

ACE Tree Service is hiring a full-time *Tree Climbers* to work alongside our team in *Auburn, AL*. The ideal person for this opportunity will have at lease one year of experience as a Climber in the Tree Service industry.*Essential Duties: ** Ensure safe and accurate tree cutting, falling, trimming, and lowering of branches and debris to minimize the potential for injury and damage to property.* Use climbing gear including saddles, ropes, and harnesses to access and safely perform tree trimming and pruning to maintain the health and appearance of trees, remove dead or hazardous branches, and assess tree health and provide recommendations for treatment or removal.* Assist with brush clearing, chipping, and stump grinding.* Operate and maintain equipment such as chainsaws, pole saws, and hedge trimmers* Collaborate with team members to complete landscaping projects* Manage traffic flow to ensure the safety of crew members, pedestrians, and vehicles passing through work areas.* Respond to emergency calls to remove trees, limbs, and debris from critical areas.*Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: ** At least one year of experience in the Tree Service industry as a Climber* Knowledge of proper tree care techniques and safety procedures* Familiarity with equipment such as bucket trucks, proficiency with rigging, knots, lines, lowering techniques, and systems.* Ability to lift and drag more than 50 lbs.* Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions* At least 18 years of age.* Valid Driver’s License and ability to pass a pre-employment MVR check.* Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug-screening.* Ability and willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.* Legal authorization to work in the United States.*Why work for ACE? *We pride ourselves on being the best in the industry, and a top employer in the area.
