School Bus Attendant

Job Title: School Bus AttendantOur School Bus company is currently seeking a reliable and responsible School Bus Attendant to join our transportation team. The School Bus Attendant will be responsible for ensuring the safety and comfort of students during transportation to and from school.Key Responsibilities:* Assist students getting on and off the bus, ensuring their safety at all times* Monitor student behavior during the bus ride and enforce safety rules* Assist the bus driver in navigating the route and communicating with the school transportation office* Maintain a clean and orderly bus environment* Attend to any medical or special needs of the students while on the bus* Communicate with parents and school officials regarding any concerns or incidents related to the bus rideQualifications:* High school diploma or equivalent* Prior experience working with children preferred* Ability to work well in a team environment* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills* Strong organizational and time-management skills* Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations* Must be able to pass a physical performance test* 21 years of age or olderThis is a part-time position with a schedule based on the school calendar.
