Join our staff of motivated, forward-thinking individuals and thrive in an atmosphere of team-work and collaboration.**Position Summary:* Responsible for the direction, strategy, and planning and execution of the company’s Medium and Low Voltage manufacturing operations at the St. Charles Facility.*Essential Duties and Responsibilities *include the following. Other duties may be assigned.* Build working relationships with other functional leaders in the company, including those in engineering, applications engineering, sales & marketing, project management, operations support, quality, finance and human resources to ensure organizational effectiveness and customer satisfaction.* Hire and develop department production personnel, provide timely feedback for performance reviews, promotions, and compensation adjustments. Mentor team and provide guidance for team member goal development· Manage employees with hands-on operation of the company’s production line process to ensure all personnel are in proper areas with the required parts to perform their job· Provide employees with support and assistance to meet the production timelines· Ensure that, as the company grows, manufacturing capabilities meet or exceed all industry and customer requirements for cost, quality and responsiveness.· Work closely with the VP of Manufacturing to develop plans, goals, and future product innovations.· Ability to work occasional weekend and/or second or third shift* Regular in-person attendance is an essential function of this job*Supervisory Responsibilities*This job has supervisory responsibilities. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.*Education and/or Experience*· 1-3 years of experience in product engineering, manufacturing engineering, fab management and/or operations of high-volume IC manufacturing in a certified manufacturing organization (ISO9000).· Experience in materials management from planning through purchasing.*Knowledge and Skills:*· Through operational and project management skills* Demonstrated team building and leadership skills* Excellent organization, planning and presentation skills* Excellent time management skills* Highly energetic and self-starter* Exceptional decision-making, problem resolution and creative thinking skills.· Demonstrated communication skills, both written and oral.* Proficient in the following applications: MS Access, MS Project, Excel, Word, and Outlook.· Must be able to read, write and converse fluently in English with the level of competency that will permit the applicant to function in the position.
