Lead CNC Machinist

*Matdan Corporation is looking for a Lead CNC Machinist to join our team!*Matdan offers company benefits including Healthcare, Matching 401k, Dental, Life Insurance, Holiday and Vacation Pay.*Position Summary:*Setting up CNC Lathes with the ability to hold tight tolerances. Production and short prototype runs. As well as the ability to help others setup machines.GD&T knowledge and understanding.Fill out routers and process inspection sheets to work with the Quality team.Ability to assist with the team on manufacturing method/process of new parts.Must be able to touch off tools, load tools into machine, make offsets as needed.Ability to train operators and other CNC machinists. Troubleshoot CNC machining issues on the floor as they arise.Experience with Mastercam or Autodesk Inventor HSM a plus.Experience with Swiss or Gang Style Smaller CNC Lathes a plus.Experience with hand inspection equipment calipers, micrometers, thread gages.Detail oriented and experience with filling out job routers and inspection reports.Keeping work area organized.Pay is competitive based on skill level.Training is available.*REQUIREMENTS:** 5+ years of CNC Operating* Experience in an ISO9001 and AS9100 quality system a plus.* Must be able to read, write and speak fluent English.* The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.* Operate vehicles and equipment in a safe manner when necessary* Work in normal open factory environments which may require standing and moving for long periods of time_*NOTE*_: It is impossible to list every requirement for, or responsibility of, any position.
