*We are seeking a part-time venue property steward to assist with preparing & closing our venues: John James Audubon Center (Audubon, PA) and Welkinweir Estate (Pottstown, PA). You would be conducting operational tasks during weddings and other events to ensure a smooth guest experience and overseeing the maintenance and cleanliness of these properties. *This job is perfect for those with serving/catering or equipment steward experience or those who want to work behind the scenes at event spaces for large events.At Jeffrey A. Visit our website at to learn more about our company, and please view our short video on why JAM is a great place to work! *Responsibilities** Taking inventory and managing/organizing the equipment for the event spaces at the John James Audubon Center (1201 Pawlings Rd, Audubon, PA 19403) and Welkinweir Estate (1368 Prizer Rd, Pottstown, PA 19465).* Oversee venue setup prior to scheduled events, tours, and open houses like moving equipment (tables, chairs, setting up firepit).* Address any maintenance or operational issues that may arise during weekend events (i.e. electrical needs for ceremony areas) and transporting guests in a golf cart around the venue.* Oversee end-of-night cleanup after breakdown to ensure the venue is returned to its original condition.* Serve as closing manager for the venue, responsible for opening and closing procedures on wedding days.* Ordering supplies, scheduling maintenance, and accepting deliveries (typically linens).*Schedule Expectations** Our season runs from April to November.* Work is conducted between the days of Thursday to Monday.* 9-12 hour shifts; 20-40 hours weekly.* Total hours and specific days depend on where we are in the season and may be modified to fit the needs of our business.*Qualifications** Valid drivers license and your own vehicle to drive to the venue or vendor sites.* Prior event, catering, equipment, or property maintenance experience.
