These advanced systems are vital to semiconductor manufacturing, automating the precise movement of wafers and cassettes throughout the Fabrication Facilities (FAB) to reduce manual handling and improve efficiency. TD7VII INC specializes in installing these automated track systems, which is essential for high-performance production in modern technology manufacturing.*Job Summary: *We are looking for a skilled Automated Material Handling Systems (AMHS) Installer/Assembler to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring all parts are correctly assembled to create a high-quality AMHS. This role involves working with both hand tools and machines to achieve precision in every component assembled. Successful candidates must possess solid technical knowledge, manual dexterity, and the ability to read and accurately follow instruction found in manuals, drawings, and schematics. The primary objective is to produce complex products by combining smaller parts. The AMHS Installer/Assembler will also learn basic AMHS operations, assist senior technicians, and perform basic maintenance tasks as needed.*Essential Duties and Responsibilities: ** Read and comprehend instructions and follow established procedures* Inspect completed work to ensure it meets the highest quality standards* Gather all necessary materials and equipment to initiate the assembly process* Keep equipment in good working condition* Record production quantities and times* Report any issues, malfunctions, or defective parts to the supervisor* Take precise measurements to ensure accurate component fitting* Select or modify components based on measurements and specifications* Align materials and assemble parts to construct more complex units* Take personal responsibility for safety by adhering to all safety guidelines, policies, and procedures set by the Company and regulatory authorities* Participate in Safety Training programs covering hazard recognition, PPE usage, and emergency procedures while practicing safe techniques when operating machinery and tools* Actively identify and report potential hazards, such as trip hazards, slippery areas, and damaged equipment while wearing appropriate PPE for the job* Using fall protection equipment, such as harnesses, and inspecting tools before each use and reporting any faults to supervisors* Following environmental regulations while maintaining a clean and organized workspace to minimize slip, trip, and fall risks*Education and Experience: ** High school diploma or equivalent* Technical certification or vocational training (not mandatory)* Prior experience in assembly or manufacturing settings*Other Skills: ** Proven experience as an assembly technician or in a related technical role is preferred* Knowledge of safety protocols and commitment to a safe working environment (such as OSHA safety knowledge)* Technical knowledge and ability to read blueprints, drawings, schematics, etc.* Ability to use tools (e.g. clamps) and machines (e.g. press)* Good understanding of quality control principles* Good communication skills, both verbal and written* Excellent hand-eye coordination* Excellent physical condition (e.g. climbing 15 feet ladders, going up a catwalk, lifting 35 pounds daily, and constantly moving over/under structures)*Travel: *There is a possibility that you may need to travel to another work-site to help out with other projects besides your local poject. This can range anywhere from a couple of weeks to a couple of months. A valid driver's license and good driving record is required.
