Injection Mold Technician

*Job Summary*We are seeking skilled Injection Mold Set-Up Operators for a customer located in the Elk Grove Village area. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude and experience in plastics injection molding processes. This role involves operating and maintaining injection molding machines, ensuring product quality, and adhering to safety standards in a warehouse environment.*1st shift 8AM-4:30PM $25.00**2nd shift 5:30PM-2AM $25.00**Duties** Operate injection molding machines and equipment to produce plastic parts according to specifications.* Perform setup, adjustments, and troubleshooting of machinery as needed.* Conduct quality inspections of finished products to ensure they meet company standards.* Assemble components and perform materials handling tasks as required.* Utilize hand tools and forklifts safely in the warehouse setting.* Maintain accurate production records and report any issues to supervisors.* Collaborate with team members to optimize production efficiency and minimize downtime.* Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work area.*Requirements** Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in operating injection molding machines.* Familiarity with plastics injection molding and blow molding processes is preferred.* Experience with logic controllers for machine operation is a plus.* Ability to perform quality inspections and ensure adherence to product specifications.* Proficient in materials handling techniques within a warehouse environment.* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.* Must be comfortable using hand tools and operating forklifts safely.* Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.All Qualified candidates please submit resumes for review, we will reach out to continue the screening process. any questions please call our office directly (630)793-9698.Job Types: Full-time, TemporaryPay: $25.00 per hourBenefits:* Health insurance* Paid time offExperience:* Plastics injection molding: 3 years (Required)* Machine Technician: 3 years (Required)Work Location: In person
