Assistant Manager

WORLD’S BIGGEST BOUNCE PARK®FUNBOX, the World’s Biggest Bounce Park, is coming to Virginia Beach! Opening late August 2025 at Lynnhaven Mall. The Assistant Manager is responsible for opening and closing duties, leading Park Team Members, and setting the stage for guests to have the best experience possible. The Assistant Manager also will assist in the park's construction and breakdown.We seek an Assistant Manager who has previous leadership and can be a positive motivator to team members, previous customer service and satisfaction experience, ensuring the SAFETY of all park visitors, creating and upholding an upbeat family entertainment experience.PLEASE NOTE: This is a temporary job that will run from late August through October 19th, 2025*JOB DUTIES:** Open and close the park* Be a friendly, welcoming, and outgoing leader to team members.* Direct team members to appropriate positions throughout the park.* Train and educate staff on various tasks and duties.* Help visitors check-in, sign waivers, and pay.* Ability to follow the instructions of the Manager.* Help maintain a clean park environment, some janitorial cleaning duties will apply* Maintain a fun & safe environment inside the park, monitoring activity and stepping in and speaking up when necessary to enforce rules and ensure safety.* Assist in the construction build and teardown of the park*PHYSICAL DEMANDS:*While performing the essential functions of this job, you must be able to:* Stand for extended periods in outdoor conditions.* Bend, reach, push, pull, and bounce!* Lift, handle, and move materials above and below shoulder height.* Lift up to 50lbs*QUALIFICATIONS:** Excellent communication skills.* Customer Service/Sales experience.* Ability to lead in a fast-paced environment* Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.* High school diploma or equivalent* Must be 18 years of age or older.*Schedule and Location:** Lynnhaven Mall Virginia Beach – late August 2025 - October 19th, 2025* Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays* The typical schedule is Fridays 2:30 p.m.- 7:30 pm., Saturdays/Sundays 10:00 a.m.-7:30 pm* No overtime requiredExpected hours: 25 – 30 per weekJob Types: Part-time, TemporaryPay: From $16.00 per hourWork Location: In person
