## Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of delicious dishes in the kitchen, ensuring high-quality meals are served to our customers. ## Duties - Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, peeling, and chopping - Assist in cooking and preparing various menu items - Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment - Ensure great presentation by dressing dishes before they are served - Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen - Ensure all food and other items are stored properly - Monitor stock and place orders when there are shortages ## Experience - Proven experience as a Line Cook, Prep Cook, or similar role - Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods (grilling, baking, boiling, etc.) - Understanding of food safety practices - Experience with kitchen equipment and utensils - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Preferred Skills: - Culinary training or degree is a plus - Previous experience in fine dining or catering establishments is advantageous Join our team today and showcase your culinary skills in a dynamic kitchen environment!Job Type: Part-timePay: $16.00 - $18.50 per hourExpected hours: 20 – 30 per weekBenefits:* Employee discount* Flexible schedule* Paid time off* Paid trainingShift availability:* Night Shift (Required)* Day Shift (Preferred)Ability to Commute:* Bangor, ME 04401 (Required)Ability to Relocate:* Bangor, ME 04401: Relocate before starting work (Required)Work Location: In person
