Electrical Panel Builder

The *Electrical Technician* is responsible for the electrical wiring, pneumatic systems installation of custom designed tools and equipment at Persico USA facilities and customer locations. The ideal candidate should possess the ability to follow electrical prints and schematics with minimal or no supervision.*Duties & Responsibilities:** Install and terminate wiring, electrical panels, power equipment, and components of machinery and equipment following electrical code, manuals, specifications, schematics, and blueprints.* Install and connect power supply wiring, cables, conduit, and electrical apparatus for machines and equipment following diagrams, schematics, or blueprints.* Diagnose and resolve problems in electrical circuits, systems, and equipment using testing instruments and equipment.* Test continuity of circuits to ensure compatibility and safety of components using testing instruments.* Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble, and install electrical conduit using rulers, measuring devices, hand tools, pipe threader, and conduit bender.* Maintain accurate records on material and labor used.* Inspect jobs upon completion and ensure areas are clean.* Perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment.* Must be willing to travel to customer sites for installation of new equipment and/or support of engineering changes implementation.* Follow established safety procedures and techniques to perform job duties, including lifting, climbing, etc.* Other duties as assigned by supervisor*Qualifications:*_*Minimum education requirements:*_Highs school diploma with specialized training in electrical technology._*Preferred education:*_College diploma in Electrical Engineering_*Experience:*_Min 5 years in related role*Additional Skills/Knowledge:** Knowledge of electrical circuits and wiring and operating principles of servo motors* Knowledge of local electrical codes* Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and written reference material* Ability to follow written and verbal instructions* Ability to perform mathematical calculations* Ability to diagnose and resolve problems* Ability to use hand and power tools* Experience with integration of Keyence family of cameras and scanners* Barcode scanners and printers* Atlas Copco/ Desoutter/ Stanley Torque Controllers wiringJob Type: Full-timePay: $20.00 - $27.00 per hourExpected hours: No less than 40 per weekBenefits:* 401(k)* 401(k) matching* Dental insurance* Health insurance* Life insurance* Paid sick time* Paid time off* Vision insuranceExperience:* Electrical: 5 years (Required)Ability to Commute:* Shelby Charter Township, MI 48315 (Preferred)Ability to Relocate:* Shelby Charter Township, MI 48315: Relocate before starting work (Preferred)Work Location: In person
