Mercer Island Cafe Shift Lead

We are looking for a Lead that can learn and grow within Macrina. Someone that would be a good fit in our cafes is positive, respectful, team orientated, hardworking and supports their manager. To be successful at Macrina you must be able to hold your team accountable and make decisions that are based on our core values.*Responsibilities** Run the floor. Upbeat and fun for crew and customers.* Banking duties.* Able to delegate tasks, train new hires and foster employees' growth. Manage sending employees on break on time.* Able to communicate and receive/give feedback in a respectful way with managers and crew. Hold yourself and crew accountable to Macrina policies.* Able to be flexible and work well under pressure.* Handle customer situations and issues with care. Acknowledge and help customers right away. Give great customer service.* Prepare customer food and drinks. Describe our products in detail to customers and employees.* Help maintain a clean environment for crew and customers (including bathrooms). Clean and sanitize regularly.* Ensure health code polocies are followed and checked throuout the shift.* Ensure stations are well-stocked before/during rushes.* Help stock and order supplies. Ensure equipment is working and in good condition.* Other related tasks to ensure the team's daily success.Starting Wage: $22.50 - $22.50/ hour + tipsWage Range: $22.50 - $25.75/ hour + tips*Benefits:** Medical, dental, and vision insurance available after 60 days.* Paid time off begins to accrue upon hire. Employees may begin to use any accrued time off after 90 days of employment. The position earns 1 hour of PTO for every 30 hours worked.* 401k eligibility after 1 year with the company.
