CNC Machinist

*BECS Technology*, a leading design and manufacturing company has an opening for a *CNC Setup / Operator* supporting our Manufacturing Department.Our Machining jobs involve short runs with frequent change over.Milling material is typically plastic and aluminum.We have new and older Haas machines.Our machine shop is clean and has A/C!Qualifications:* 2 or more years’ experience setting up and operating a CNC machine is preferred.* Haas Vertical Mill And lathes preferred.* Ability to use edge finder required.* Knowledge of XYZ coordinates required.* 4 axis Trunnion knowledge a plus.* Haas probe knowledge a plus.* Understanding of speeds and feeds a plus.* Ability to program is NOT required.* Must be able to read and interpret drawings* Must be able to use precision measurement tools and instruments (calipers, micrometers,indicators)* Understand the basic principles of inspection and ability to adhere to manufacturing processes.* Must have ability to perform basic math functions using whole numbers, fractions and decimalsResponsibilities:* Set up and operate machines.* Operate multiple machines at the same time.* Set up tooling and fixtures per the set-up guides.* Assist operator level employees with Setups* Work with Manufacturing to refine scheduling of jobs to improve throughput* Work with Engineering to debug new CAM Programs and for one-off Machined Parts for inhouse Tooling and Fixturing.Job Type: Full-timeBenefits:* 401(k)* 401(k) matching* Dental insurance* Flexible spending account* Health insurance* Life insurance* Paid time off* Vision insuranceSchedule:* 8 hour shiftShift availability:* Day Shift (Required)Ability to Commute:* St. Louis, MO 63132 (Required)Ability to Relocate:* St. Louis, MO 63132: Relocate before starting work (Required)Work Location: In person
