In-House Outdoor Living & Furniture Designer

*Job Title:* In‑House Outdoor Living & Furniture Designer*Location:* Shawnee Hills Showroom – Powell, OH*Company:* Altimate Outdoor*About the Role:* Altimate Outdoor is hiring a creative, detail‑oriented designer to join our Shawnee Hills showroom team. You’ll work directly with clients to design complete outdoor living spaces—including custom furniture, pergolas, kitchens, and more—and prepare detailed design drawings to guide installations.*Responsibilities:** Meet with clients in the showroom to understand goals and gather site info* Design outdoor layouts and custom furniture pieces* Create plans, elevations, and 3D models using AutoCAD and SketchU* Coordinate with our installation team and vendors to bring designs to life* Track project details, budgets, and timelines from concept through completion*Qualifications:** Degree in architecture, interior/industrial/landscape design or similar* 0–3 years of experience; recent grads encouraged to apply* Proficient in CAD, SketchUp, and Adobe SuiteStrong communication, organization, and design skills*Bonus Points:** Familiarity with AI design tools or image generators (e.g. Midjourney, DALL·E, ChatGPT for ideation, etc.)* Open to learning how AI can streamline parts of your workflow and help you work smarter, not harder*Benefits:** Competitive pay, PTO, health benefits, and 401(k) match* Opportunity to design luxury outdoor spaces and custom furnishings* Supportive, fast-growing team with room to growAt Altimate Outdoor, we're constantly evolving—and that includes embracing emerging tools like AI to support creativity and productivity.
