OTC Robotic Welder Operator

OTC Robotics Technician and Bot-X experience RequiredWelding and fabrication of parts as outlined in drawings using robotic welding equipment and standard fabrication tools. Safety and effectively operate all machinery to accomplish assigned tasks. Examine work to ensure quality workmanship. Any other related duties as assigned by management or as developed due to business necessity and growth.*Must Be/Have*: Experience programming and operating robotic welding equipment. Familiarity with basic hand tools.*Responsibilities include but not limited to:*a. Welding/fabricate parts per drawings.b. Must be able to read and understand blueprints prior to starting a project, knowledge of common weld symbols.c. Checking finished work to make sure it falls within the tolerances marked on the blueprints.d. Communicating with supervisor to ensure compliance with quality standards and establish priorities.e. Attend all safety meetings.f. Adhere to all safety rules. Maintain a clean and safe working environment.g. Exhibit good working habits at all times.*Additional duties include but are not limited to the following:*· Work with and assist your immediate supervisor.· Attend all meetings as scheduled.· Participate in the continuous improvement efforts of MWI’s Quality Management System.· Utilize excellent interpersonal skills to include courtesy and respect in interaction with all coworkers, managers, and customers.· Maintain and encourage an enthusiastic attitude, excellent initiative, and a strong work ethic.· Maintain open mind and foresight to help the MWI be more efficient and productive.*Physical Demands: *Must be able to stand, sit, feel, twist, walk, talk, hear, see, drive, bend, drive, crouch, grasp, squeeze, crawl, kneel, squat, push, pull, apply pressure, reach overhead. Ability to focus for extended periods of time. Ability to lift and carry 40 lbs. regularly if required, steady hands in order to obtain and meet required quality. Must be able to safely operate all required machinery. Ability to work outdoors subject to local weather conditions.*WORKING CONDITIONS: *Traditional non-air-conditioned heavy industrial manufacturing environment.
