For these reasons, among others, many employees have been with us for more than 15 years.*Lumber Sales Associate*Lumber sales is one of the most dynamic positions at Craftwood. Every Associate is expected to work the lumber counter fielding customer questions on a diverse offering of product and materials. All mouldings, lumber, plywood, and bagged warehouse goods require a ticket from our lumber counter. These items are the daily cash and carry sales that make up the majority of customer interactions. In addition to these sales, Associates provide Special Order information and pricing on doors, windows, decking, milled lumber, moldings, and door/window hardware. While a familiarity with various product lines, vendors, and catalogs is essential, successful ordering demands detailed measurements and customer communication. This attention to detail is paramount to ensuring our reputation and customer confidence. Although we expect Associates to obtain general familiarity with all aspects of the lumber department, we also encourage specialization. Every salesman tends to gravitate to one or more aspect depending on interest and ability.
