Utility Line tree trimmer

We are looking for someone who can help with trimming around utility lines and right of ways. We only trim communication lines, no power lines. Work hours are Mon.-Fri. 7-3:30 most days depending on the weather and emergency jobs. You will be driving a 5 speed manual transmission bucket truck pulling a chipper and have 1 or 2 guys working with you depending on the job.A few times a month we could get an after hours call to take a tree off the line When the storms hit.This is a traveling position where you will leave out Monday morning and work for a week out of town some where in Va. stay in a hotel and come back Friday evening. Some of the work will be in Richmond area as the need arises but most will be out of town. We pay $50.00 a day perdiem and pay for the hotel.Some work is from the bucket and some is ground work clearing a 5’ path around and under the cables. Some times we cut in the mountains and some times in alleys. All depends on the job. This is not an easy job or for the faint of heart.
