Assistant Head Housekeeper

The Asst Head Housekeeper helps the Executive Housekeeper with cleaning rooms, checking rooms, and supervising the housekeeping department. This is a supervisor position and would like some experience for this position.Ensure guests have clean linens, towels, rooms, bathrooms and public areas.Maintain key control sign-in and sign-out procedure and daily verification of all keys in the department.Ensure safety standards are followed by proper use of chemicals, supplies, stained linens, equipment and all other supplies.Assist guests in an emergency situation.Perform housekeeping-related tasks, including laundry.Physical ability to stand, stoop, climb, bend, reach, carry and lift up to 40 pds. visual acuity to inspect and monitor cleaning standards.Good written and verbal skills to communicate to staff.Job Type: Full-timePay: From $16.50 per hourBenefits:* 401(k)* Employee discount* Health insurance* Paid time offShift:* 8 hour shift* Day shiftAbility to commute/relocate:* Mitchell, SD 57301: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)Experience:* Cleaning: 1 year (Preferred)* supervisor: 1 year (Preferred)Work Location: In person
