CNC Lathe Machinist- 2nd shift with differential

* Performs set-ups, on a wide variety of CNC machines in a manner, which will ensure accurate and precise compliance with design and quality standards.* Monitors variations in sequence, e.g., positioning, cycle time, etc., and makes necessary corrections.* Works from drawings and/or specifications with little guidance from Team Leader.* Troubleshoots complex machining job problems.* Runs production and deburrs parts as required.* Edits programs for CNC machines using MasterCam.* Help determine best machining process.* Select and align tooling, fixtures, and attachments for machining.* Adjust machine to produce a conforming product.* Perform in-process inspection of own work while running machine.* Complete required paperwork and keep material and paperwork organized.* Provide on-the-job training to other employees in department.* Maintains work area in a neat and orderly condition. Works safely and complies with all established safety rules and work practices.* Keeps Team Leader informed of job, machine, and equipment related problems as well as any other information related to work activity.* Maintain and care for all shop tools, machines, and equipment.* Conform to the company quality system as documented.*Summary*As a CNC Lathe Machinist on the 2nd shift, you will be integral to our manufacturing operations, reporting directly to the Production Supervisor.
