Operations Manager

Lake Palestine Resort is seeking an experienced and hands-on Assistant Manager to oversee day-to-day operations across multiple areas of our vibrant lakeside resort. This position requires a motivated, organized, and customer-focused individual to lead our team and ensure a seamless experience for our guests.*Responsibilities: *Manage and oversee daily operations for :* *Restaurant & Bar: *Supervise staff, maintain high-quality food and beverage service, and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.* *RV Park & Cabins: *Oversee reservations, guest services, and property maintenance to ensure a positive guest experience.* *General Store (Tackle & Boutique): *Maintain stock levels, manage inventory, and ensure merchandise is attractively displayed and available for guests.* Hire, train, and manage staff across departments.* Assist in planning and executing resort events and activates such as fireworks and live entertainment.* Monitor budgets and control expenses to maximize profitability* Handle guest concerns and resolve issues promptly with excellent customer service* Work closely with ownership to implement resort policies and procedures.*Qualifications: ** Previous experience in hospitality, resort management, or food and beverage operations.* Strong leadership and team management skills.* Knowledge of inventory management and ordering systems* Customer service-oriented with strong communication skills.* Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays and needed.*Benefits:** Resort perks and discounts.* Opportunity to work in a beautiful lakeside environment.* Compensation includes base pay plus a commission percentage on all sales, paid out with each paycheck.Job Type: Full-timePay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hourExpected hours: 40 per weekBenefits:* Employee discountWork Location: In person
