Job Description

*CMM Operator / Quality Control Inspector*Master Machine LLC. is seeking a CMM Operator / Quality Control Inspector to join the Quality Team in implementation of quality control programmatic requirements for nuclear, DoE, DoD, and AS9100/ISO9001 projects. This position reports to the Quality Assurance Manager.*Responsibilities include:** Programming and operation of Zeiss CMM (Calypso software). Keyence Optical CMM and/or Faro arm experience a plus.* Perform other dimensional inspections (first article, in-process, and final) utilizing conventional precision measuring equipment. (calipers, micrometers, etc.)* Ensuring quality requirements are maintained to meet MMI QA Program and Customer requirements.* Support receiving inspection of Customer parts and consumables, including maintaining QA controlled inventory.* Verifying that all inspection activities performed at MMI are according to Customer requirements, procedures, and purchase order / contract agreements.* Performing assigned QC witness / hold points as identified in work travelers.* Interfacing with Customers and Production personnel.* Temporary assignment to other activities/duties as needed to support the business.*Requirements** Thorough understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).* Completed Zeiss Metrology Training Classes desired. (Basic, Advanced, and Expert levels)* A minimum of 2 years’ experience in quality control inspection activities in a mechanical or electrical discipline desired.* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to clearly communicate quality and technical requirements.* Knowledge and experience in NQA-1, 10CFR50 Appendix B, 10CFR21, and ANSI N45.2, quality requirements. ASME B&PV Section IX or XI, ASME Section III experience a plus.* Minimum 2 years’ experience with knowledge and practical experience working with nuclear QA codes and standards desired.* Machinist/Fabricator experience is a plus.* Nuclear commercial grade dedication experience is a plus.* Experience in aerospace (AS9100) QMS quality department may be substituted depending on type of experience and qualifications.* Flexible hours to meet emergent Customer needs.*Physical Requirements:** Heavy lifting, up to 50 lbs.* Walking, Standing, Reaching, Stooping, Crouching, Climbing_*Master Machine LLC. is a privately owned and operated business primarily focused in the nuclear industry.
