*JOB DESCRIPTION*TITLE: Bowling and Arcade AttendantDEPARTMENT: Bowling and AmusementsREPORTS TO: Supervisor/Bowling and Arcade Operations Manager/Regional GMLOCATION: Murphy, North CarolinaSALARY: Hourly/$11.00 - $14.00*SUMMARY*Bowling and Arcade Attendant, is a key role in the smooth operation of the entire Bowling Center including theHelm and Arcade area. This person will be the front line of contact with guests and will be responsible for any needs the guests might have. This position demands someone with problem solving skills as well as a positive attitude to ensure a fun, memorable experience for the guest. They are also expected to provide excellent service for guests with a friendly smile while always following our guest service standards of 10 for 10, 80/20 and C.P.R.Team members must have comprehensive knowledge of all events and amenities in the UltraStar Multi-tainmentCenter.*RESPONSIBILITIES*_ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS BUT NOT LIMITED TO:_● Perform a variety of attending duties in the Bowling, Helm, and Arcade areas.● Maintain and provide equipment to participate in Bowling Center and Arcade.● Monitor activities to ensure adherence to rules and safety procedures.● Ability to work in a team environment● Knowledge of the proper etiquette and service standards● Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure● Maintain Bowling Center cleanliness by bussing lanes, keeping the area free of trash, and keeping bathrooms clean and stocked.● Keep lines of communication open with the Helm and Shift Manager on duty.● Maintain knowledge of the company and the areas to ensure guests have correct information.● Handle themselves in front of all guests and staff in a professional manner.● Responsible for center cleanliness. Pick up to 50lbs., 75 feet● Develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with others to create a successful environment.● Always provide a positive attitude and support staff and management in decision making.● Arcade attendants are expected to possess an extensive knowledge of guest service.● Basic math skills, computer skills● Read and write English● High School Diploma*PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS*The physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by a Team Member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
