Mowing/Landscaping Laborer & Driver

We are a landscape and snow removal company that is growing fast in Central Indiana.The company is family owned and we treat our employees like they are part of the family.We do have full year round work for the people that have experience.We are looking for full and part-time employees that are energetic, well mannered, hard-working Crew Members and Crew Leaders for a Commercial and Residential Landscape Company. Some of the job duties will include mowing, trimming, blowing, mulching, landscape construction, dirt work, shrub maintenance, planting, snow removal, and holiday lighting.Must be able to speak some English.Responsibilities:Ability to properly operate hand tools safely (i.e. pruners, hand saw, rakes, shovels, etc.)Ability to properly operate all power equipment efficiently and safely. (i.e. mowers, string trimmers, blowers, aerators, spreaders, edger, shears, blade sharpeners, etc. )General knowledge of proper mowing procedures and guidelinesGeneral knowledge of proper landscape maintenance tasksSnow Removal (higher hourly pay rate)Qualifications:Candidate should be a motivated team playerHave people skillsFlexible working hoursAbility to understand and follow directions1 year + experience with a landscape company is requiredMust be able to work overtime and on Saturdays when requiredAbility to lift 50 lbs. regularly and work outdoors in different conditionsHave a good background historyWill be able to pass a drug testGood attendance and punctuality is a mustMust have strong sense for the safety of themselves and those around themWe are looking forward hearing from you.Job Types: Full-time, Part-timePay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hourBenefits:* Flexible scheduleExperience:* Mowing: 1 year (Preferred)* Landscape maintenance: 2 years (Preferred)License/Certification:* Driver's License (Required)Ability to Commute:* Indianapolis, IN (Required)Work Location: In person
