At Hickory Hills Country Club, we are looking for highly motivated, charismatic team members dedicated to providing quality service and a fine dining experience to our membership.Our focus on providing genuine hospitality and memorable dining experiences has made us the most respected country club in the Springfield area, and we want you to become a member of the Hickory Hills team.*Job Description: Banquet Supervisor, Hickory Hills Country Club *The Banquet Supervisor reports to and assists the Banquet Manager in overseeing and executing select club activities, social and business functions, and private events. This employee-supervisor oversees the set-ups, breakdowns and quality of service for assigned events. The Supervisor regularly coordinates with the Banquet Manager as well as the Director of Hospitality to ensure that all events are well organized and that the expectations of the Member/Host are exceeded. Additionally, the Supervisor may perform several roles or work with staff in multiple departments as needed. Work schedule will include nights and weekends based on scheduled events or club needs.*Requirements:*· 3+ years experience as a server or floor supervisor in a la carte dining service· Outgoing personality with strong, professional interpersonal skills· Proven track record of team leadership and motivational skills· Attention to set up and service details· Diplomatic team player able to foster relationships with staff, members and guests· Ability to follow established procedures and operate w/ little to no supervision*Essential Duties:*· Ensure that all assigned Banquet events are launched efficiently and effectively· Promote positive mentoring to Banquet staff through knowledge and leadership· Coordinate timely food service between Culinary and Banquet Staff· Inspect, review and implement all Banquet logistics and set up as per detailed BEO, including and changes, with Banquet Manager· Greet and interact with members and review Banquet expectations with host· Conduct pre-service line-up with staff when needed· Monitor all beverage consumption and notify management of any issues of intoxication· Complete proper closing inspection duties· Maintain Banquet cleanliness in front and back of house· Filling in for Banquet Manager as needed· Attending weekly department meetings· Being on your feet for extended periods of time and carrying up to 50lbs_Other duties may be assigned by General Manager, Banquet Manager or Director of Hospitality_Job Types: Full-time, Part-timePay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hourBenefits:* 401(k)* Dental insurance* Employee discount* Flexible schedule* Food provided* Health insurance* Paid trainingWork Location: In person
