Maintenance and Grounds Technician

This role is essential in ensuring our facilities and equipment remain in top working condition. Responsibilities include unit flips, landscaping projects, and general maintenance tasks that support smooth day-to-day operations.*Key Responsibilities** Perform routine inspections of facilities and equipment to identify potential issues* Carry out preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment life* Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and plumbing issues* Replace or repair broken or worn parts as necessary* Oversee contractors and coordinate outsourced repair or renovation projects* Assist with unit turnovers and property landscaping when needed*Required Skills & Qualifications** Strong working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems* Experience using diagnostic tools, such as ohmmeters* Proficient in English with effective verbal and written communication skills* Detail-oriented and able to work independently with minimal supervision* Residential painting experience is a plus*Experience & Requirements** 1 year of maintenance experience (preferred)* Valid driver’s license (required)* Must be able to reliably commute to or relocate to *Waunakee, WI 53597* prior to start date* On-site work required (this is not a remote position)If you're a hands-on problem solver with a mechanical mindset and a strong work ethic, we'd love to hear from you.
