Irrigation Technician

*Job Summary*We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Irrigation Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance and irrigation systems, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing irrigation systems to ensure optimal water distribution for gardens and landscapes. Must have a valid drivers licence.*Duties** Install and maintain irrigation systems for residential and commercial properties.* Utilize power tools and hand tools to dig trenches, lay pipes, and build irrigation setups.* Conduct regular inspections of irrigation systems to identify issues or areas for improvement.* Perform necessary repairs on malfunctioning equipment or components of the irrigation system.* Collaborate with landscape maintenance teams to ensure proper watering schedules are followed.* Provide recommendations for efficient irrigation practices that promote healthy plant growth.* Maintain accurate records of work performed, including repairs and installations.*Experience** Previous experience at least 2yrs in irrigation repair as well as system upgrades is required.* Familiarity with mechanical knowledge related to irrigation systems.* Proficiency in using various power tools and hand tools required for installation and repair tasks.* Ability to dig trenches and perform physical labor as needed for irrigation projects.* A strong understanding of how to irrigate effectively, ensuring optimal water usage for gardens and landscapes.Join us in creating beautiful outdoor spaces while ensuring efficient water management through your expertise as an Irrigation Technician!Job Type: Full-timePay: $19.00 per hourExpected hours: No more than 40 per weekBenefits:* Opportunities for advancement* Parental leaveSchedule:* 8 hour shift* Day shift* Morning shiftSupplemental Pay:* Bonus opportunitiesAbility to Commute:* Mount Dora, FL 32757 (Required)Work Location: On the road
