Landscape laborer

*Job Overview*We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Landscape Laborer to join our Installation team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a commitment to installing beautiful landscapes. This role involves various tasks related to landscape installation, ensuring that properties are installed properly and visually appealing. The Landscape Laborer will work under the supervision of a crew leader and collaborate with other team members to achieve high-quality results.*Duties** operate heavy equipment at times such as skid excavators, trenchers and ride behind loaders* Engage in installation and repairs of sprinkler systems* Assist in landscape projects, ensuring all areas are well-organized and properly installed.* Build and install landscape features such as flower beds, retaining walls, or pathways as needed.* Dig holes for planting trees or shrubs, ensuring proper depth and spacing.* Maintain equipment by performing routine checks and basic mechanical repairs as necessary.* Follow safety protocols while operating machinery and handling tools to prevent accidents.*Skills** Proficient sprinkler system repairs/installations.* Knowledge of landscaping installation.* Ability to build various landscape features with attention to detail.* Experience in operating heavy equipment.* Strong digging skills for planting and landscaping projects.* Basic mechanical knowledge for equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.* Physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.* Team player with good communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues.Join us in creating beautiful outdoor spaces while developing your skills in the landscaping industry!Job Type: Full-timePay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hourExpected hours: 35 – 40 per weekBenefits:* On-the-job training* Opportunities for advancementAbility to Commute:* Roy, UT 84067 (Required)Ability to Relocate:* Roy, UT 84067: Relocate before starting work (Required)Work Location: In person
