PMC’s rapidly growing portfolio is located in secondary and tertiary urban markets up and down the East Coast. PMC is currently seeking a Leasing Agent for its Richmond, VA portfolio.Leasing Agents perform many organizational tasks to help potential tenants find their new home that meets their needs and best promotes the business. Their duties and responsibilities often include:* Generate leads through Craigslist -- minimum of 60 posts per week* Weekly updates to websites and online listings* Manage the apartment leasing process from start to finish; receive/respond to prospect phone calls and emails, provide available unit information, tour prospects, take and process applicant information* Print lease and do lease signing with tenant* Test and release keys* Walk unit prior to move-in to ensure all maintenance and cleaning are complete* Answer any questions from tenants after move-in* Submit move-in packet directly to Accounting* Attend local and neighborhood events* Create and maintain relationships with local realtors, businesses, universities, and neighborhood associations* Work closely with property management to develop service needs for the portfolio* Conduct and complete Quarterly Market Surveys* Promote resident retention programs* Maintain courteous communication with residents, prospects, and brokers* Represent PMC in a professional manner* Maintain a "team spirit"* Maintain work areas/offices in a clean and orderly manner* Assists in other related tasks as assignedPay: $16/hourCommission: $250/leasePotential Earnings: $50,000 - $65,000*Qualifications** Customer service experience in a property management setting* Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations and landlord-tenant law* Proficiency in property leasing processes* Strong communication and conflict management skills* Familiarity with Yardi software* Ability to navigate administrative tasks* Valid driver's license and vehicle for property visitsJob Type: Full-timePay: From $16.00 per hourBenefits:* 401(k)* 401(k) matching* Dental insurance* Employee assistance program* Employee discount* Flexible spending account* Health insurance* Life insurance* Paid time off* Referral program* Vision insuranceSchedule:* Weekends as neededAbility to Commute:* Richmond, VA 23230 (Required)Ability to Relocate:* Richmond, VA 23230: Relocate before starting work (Preferred)Work Location: In person
