*Irrigation Technician*- We work year-round!*Irrigation Technician Benefits/Perks:*Job Type: Full-time, Non-ExemptStarting Pay: $23.00 - $27.00/hr (depending on experience)Opportunity to earn commission (depending on task and experience)Benefits: Health, Vision, Dental benefits, 401k (match), Paid Time Off, Paid Sick Leave*Irrigation Technician Requirements:*- Reports to work on time and works full shifts, Monday – Friday with some Saturdays required- Is a willing learner, a self-starter and multi-tasker with attention to detail- Is able to communicate with supervisors, peers and the public in a professional manner- Willing to work in all weather conditions as job requires- Is able to periodically perform 24-hour on-call shifts- Assists with snow clearing services*Irrigation Technician Position Description:*The Irrigation Technician must be thoroughly familiar with all aspects of irrigationsystems to include: wiring controllers and valves, pressure testing, trenching/pullingpipe; installing heads, rotors, valves, main and lateral lines, drip line, bubblers, etc.;operating equipment, ordering correct materials; and interfacing with customers,subcontractors, architects, etc. The Irrigation Technician has a clear understanding ofhow to maximize water conservation services in order to protect this irreplaceableresource. Requires minimal supervision and conducts all jobs in a safe manner and, ifnecessary, directing a crew of one other employee. The Irrigation Technician must alsoattend to and complete all paperwork and administrative requirements related to the jobwhile creating and maintaining a professional job atmosphere.*Irrigation Technician Qualifications:*- Valid Driver’s License and be insurable with reliable transportation to work- Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent preferred- 3-5 years’ experience in the irrigation service field preferred- Able to lift 75 pounds without assistance- Certified Irrigation Technician (CIT) preferred- CPR Certification preferred*Zak George Landscaping* has been inspiring unique landscapes since 2005.
