*Job Description**El Taco Real - Front of House Team Member - Cashier – Table Server */*/*/*/* Must be Bilingual English / Spanish /*/*/* If you do not speak English and Spanish, please do not apply here.*Job Summary*The Front of House Team Member is responsible for ensuring an exceptional guest experience. The FOH Team Member will be primarily responsible for interactions with guests, ensuring order accuracy, demonstrating knowledge of all aspects of El Taco Real’s Food and Beverage offerings. The Front of House Team Member will also maintain all aspects of guest service throughout the guests visit to El Taco Real, including refilling beverages as needed, bussing tables and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for guests. All staff will have a positive attitude and contribute to the speed, efficiency and accuracy of all guest service.The Front of House Team Member will have full knowledge of all menu items, ingredients and food allergens. The FOH Team Member will adhere to recipes, portion sizes, and necessary upcharges for substitutions for building orders and ensuring accuracy of guest transactions.*Reporting Relationship*The Front of House Team Member reports directly to the General Manager.*Duties and Responsibilities Staff:*· Effectively champions the company’s vision, mission, culture, and overall business objectives.· Supports a high-performance team culture that values continuous improvements, learning and a commitment to quality.*Cashier Station*· Accurately inputs guest’s orders into Point of Sale System and efficientlyprocesses payment. Ensures that guest’s checks are complete and accurate.· Ensure high level of cleanliness for front counter, dining room and other common areas in the Restaurant. Maintains water station, tables & chairs, ensures restaurant is prepared for incoming guests.· Promote teamwork and excellence amongst the kitchen and foh team.· Demonstrates a willingness to learn· Responsible for assistance with food production and building requested orders· Execute opening and/or closing procedures are followed*Dish Station*· Ensuring soiled and clean dishes are constantly moving throughout the restaurant.· Ensuring that Food Safety standards in the Dish and Prep areas are consistently maintained.· Constantly creating a clean and safe working environment throughout the restaurant.*Beverage/Expo Station*· Restocks Expo area with all necessary service items.· Ensures To-Go products are stocked and well maintained.· Ensures that each dish leaving the kitchen meets/exceeds company standards.· Ensures all beverages are safe, stocked and maintained.· Maintain cleanliness and complies with food sanitation requirements by properly handling food and ensuring correct storage*Controls and Procedures:*· Arrives on time to scheduled shifts daily· Keeps self-appearance neat, clean, and in proper uniform at all times· Abides by all company policies and procedures· Ensures that all items served to guests have been properly rung in and paid for via Point of Sale system*Qualification Standards:*· Experience in a Food Preparation Environment· Experience in a Cashier Role· Organizational Skills· Ability to reach, bend, stoop, wipe, and stand for long periods* Physical agility and dexterity of both hands* Lifts 50-60 pounds. Lift and move cases of food, beverage, and merchandise on a constant basis.* Capable of standing during entire shift, if needed* Frequent immersion of hands in water approximately every 5 minutes* Reading and writing skills are required. Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.*Salary & Requirements*· Minimum Wage + Tips - Busy restaurant with lots of tips· Flexible scheduling/availabilityJob Type: Part-timePay: $11.13 - $14.00 per hourShift:* Day shift* Evening shiftLanguage:* English (Required)* Spanish (Required)Work Location: In person
